You can live an easy life
If you don't care to dream big
If you let your days pass by
Without you taking any risk
You walk in the garden with
Your hands crossed behind
You with a vacant mind
If the chirping and short
Skirmishes of birds, opening
Of buds, swinging of flowers
In the morning wind, whispering
Of a stream as it goes dancing
Down the valley do not evoke
A poem in you then you can
Have an easy life. If you forget
To bath in the early ray of the sun,
Don't feel like dancing in the
Cool rain of the monsoon, don't
See a lover in the face of the moon,
And can't write a couple of lines
For the innocent stars that
Sparkles all through the nights
Then you have an easy life.
If sitting by the window you
Don't feel like a child watching
The clouds rushing to the horizon,
Don't whistle at the swinging
Trees and don't feel to chase surly
Butterflies along winding paths
Then you can live an easy life

A wonderful and perceptive poem. So very true. Yes, easy life is never burdened with big dreams, responsibilities and risks. One who cannot.appreciate the wonders and beauty of existence. Well penned with great imagery.
Thanks very much for reading and giving a wonderful comment. Regards.
