Echo Beach Ii Poem by Andreas Classen

Echo Beach Ii

Rating: 5.0

An armoured snail

crawling up Echo Beach.

Steel carterpillars rip the dirt,

missiles scream.

Explosions envisioned in my bathtub

remind me of days gone

and a love

blooming and perished in the nocturnal glitter.

A slippery floor of lies and broken nonverbal promises you used to dance on, too.

Echo Beach

You picked me up in this place.

Slowly dragged me out of the bloody mud that was my world,

dipping me back in from time to time.

Right now I smell a breeze coming from Echo Beach

telling a tale of my reality.

Now I go and bite that certain mud.

I'm never gonna try to spit it out again.

You wanna kiss me?

Ok - come on

taste Echo Beach.
