Edge Of A Knife Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Edge Of A Knife

Rating: 5.0

R-ising sun fifteenth January
O-pens the day with light;
N-ew dawn has broken,
A-iming to leave the Saturday night.
L-et Sunday morning break, to meet the sunny day;
D-ark shadows disappear, as the raindrops fade away.

B-urning beacon comes,
R-ising above the horizon;
I-t shines in the sky
O-nce the moon is gone.
N-ever let the glowing flame
E-vade warming your life;
S-tart fighting the poverty, gripping not the edge of a knife.
