I am a Gloucester Severn eel,
And dreamed of serving my dear Queen
In a special lamprey pie meal
That she could get her teeth between,
For her Diamond Jubilee.
But fate bypassed me cuz I'm found
An endangered species to be.
Canada eels get to be bound
For fame and glory baked in pie.
World Ocean Day - what did I do?
Just stayed stuck in the mud to cry,
How life can deal a stinkaroo.
Sargasso Sea is my default.
Rub my wounded hurt with some salt.
