Effortless Spinning Poem by Saiom Shriver

Effortless Spinning

With the oaks and maples
the fir trees do not spar
as toward heaven point
their treetop greenspears.
Beneath them
dandelions spore-crowned
grow by dewy grass spires
needing no spur to spin
as higher they aspire.
