Ego And Conscience

Man is born with ego and conscience.
Bruised, ego will emit arrogance.
Touched, conscience will display kindness.
To revenge is to assault one's ego.
To forgive is to touch one's conscience.
Revenge destroys peace; forgiveness makes peace.
Wounded, one, if strong, reacts, or if weak, curses.
Is there any, so noble to forgive?
