Embracing Heartache's Dance Poem by April Humason

Embracing Heartache's Dance

I live in heartache's swirling spell,
Anxious of what tomorrow will compel.
Will joy awaken, love's tender swell,
Or will fists fly, my soul to quell?

A trembling earthquake, my smile it tests,
Yet paradise awaits, life's worth at best.
In chaos, seeking moments to invest,
Reconciling love amid the unrest.

He's just a boy who craves affection,
In highs and lows, our hearts' connection.
Cowboy up, facing every reflection,
Showering love, a boundless affection.

Yearning for the day he finds pure joy,
Embracing the unknown without ploy.
Moments cherished, no negativity to employ,
My love, an envoy, no pain to destroy.

Thus, heartache's grip I calmly endure,
Awaiting the dawn, emotions obscure.
Will laughter bless the lips, love's allure,
Or battles lost, my heart left to rupture?

Facing quakes and love's sweet kiss,
Breathing deeply, dismissing any miss.
Worry not, for life is filled with bliss,
Anything is possible, no need to panic, this I insist.
