A married woman teaching in a Catholic School,
Apparently has broken some sort of golden rule,
Fired for Turing to IFV to conceive a second child,
And yet not a peep when Father Murphy ran wild?

It's an intrinsic which no circumstances can justify,
Using IFV disrespects the Catholic Faith that's why,
A priest sexually abused 200 kids for several years,
But, they were deaf and could only cry silent tears.

While the same school has teachers who are divorced,
Male teachers with vasectomies & they weren't forced,
Their choice to not have more kids for whatever cause,
I will bet no woman chooses to go through menopause.

This woman was fired because she violated church laws,
While Father Murphy was joyfully playing Santa cause,
She acted inconsistent with laws of the Catholic Church,
The chicken or the egg, so is divorce but she goes first?

As the Archdiocese has the same thinking and so it agrees,
But not when the good Father forced boys on their knees,
For twenty years teaching at St. Johns he failed to repent,
You'll be surprised to learn the Cardinal who was negligent.

None other than the current high holiness, Pope Benedict,
The church fires a mom & for the abuser it's less than strict?
The Cardinal Josef Ratzinger who at the time was in charge,
Did absolutely nothing, now in the Vatican he's living large?

He oversaw the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,
The watchdog of the church employed 40 so it had to wait?
In other words, there were more pressing cases to review?
Than hundreds of innocent victims by the pulpit to the pew?

Murphy wrote directly to Cardinal Ratzinger, it's on the clock,
Year 1998 requesting mercy so it was decided not to defrock,
Not only that a decision was made for his trial to be stopped,
Eventually stripped of his priesthood a scandal began to rock.

Police and church leaders were informed by those who were deaf,
Obviously sign language didn't convey the hurt under their breath,
'Solicitation in the confessional' a serious violation of church law,
Murphy's victim Steven Geier,50 years later his anger is still raw.

From speaking through an interpreter as he also tried to do then,
At the tender age of 14 he and the students are now grown men,
With a trial imagine what their testimony would have been worth,
More or less than this trial as the teacher only wants to give birth?
