Emotional Horrors Poem by Anthony Burlison

Emotional Horrors

Each day I awake
I search for what I really have at stake
Nothing good to arise for
Run down by so much, oh so sore
Carrying on mindlessly
Living through this pain endlessly
Lost all I loved in a rough past
My heart sealed in darkness, sealed in an iron cast
Losing all morale and emotion, as I slowly unwind
Evil desires spiralling thourgh my angry mind
Each day I live and feel the above
Forever alone and destroyed, no more love
Do I have the courage to end it all?
Or will I continue to die inside as I fall?
