Emotions Poem by Kasey Petty

They flow threw us like blood in our vains
Mixed emotions collide like trains
Yet the love is still the same
Still the one thing that keeps me sane
Yet its also drives me to the deepest, darkest part of me
Its when you touch me that i feel the pain and love
Every ripple that goes threw me with the slightest touch
Its seems that even my blood wants- no, craves your touch
Its when you look at me that i see the past, present, and future
The past is the worse
I can see the egony and fear that once caused so much to change
The present isnt as bad
I can see the confussion and sense of belonging
The future is better
I can see hope and desire
A girl can only wish that there is a place for her in your world
But what happens when one day that changes
All of it
One little emotion can change it all
Fear

The emotion fear drives most of us
Fear of being alone
Fear of having nothing
Fear of going know where
Those fears give people the challenge
It also gives someone something to fight for
Like the fear of losing you...
That is the fear that i know will never go away
But its also that fear that makes me try
Makes me think about being as best as i can
Not for me
For you
Because the fear of losing you,
Its like being scared to take the first steps
One your not used to it
You feel the pressure of your legs
Two your scared to fall
You know its going to hurt
Three you dont know what to do now
You dont really know where to start

The fear of falling
The pressure
The not knowing
All an emotion inside of its self
I guess its as they say 'well see how it goes'
What if it doesnt go anywhere?
What if nothing happens?
Is there anything that can change the situtation?
But if everything is happy what should change?
What should?
I am happy and content
Those emotions are true all the way to the deepest part of me
So what does that mean for us
Im still not sure
I want to believe that everything is mutual
I want to believe that everything will have a happy ending
That everything will work out and everything you say is true
And the more emotions
The more you mean to me.
Because of every emotion is a part of me.
