Emotions Linked Through Feet Poem by Nick Downer

you can tell im turned on
when my feet start going
funny thing is they do that
when im nervous too
or while my heart is breaking
my feet have played with yours
travelled up your legs
and burned holes in the sheets
from the friction of their movement
while you made me wet
my feet have rubbed as fast
as my heart beated while i
got up the courage to
ask something serious
and you had to cover them
with your hands to keep them still
while tears rolled down our faces
and my heart broke
you joke, 'oh, look whose turned on'
cuz my feet wont keep still.
i think passion, intimacy and heartache
all go hand in hand
my feet don't see a difference
