Empty Blankets Poem by Stephanie Souter

Empty Blankets

I woke my sences when the sun came out,
Later than i knew my eyes would stay shut.
I long for a gaze of anouther on the chilled pillow by mine,
but i dont know how i would comprehend warming the pillow with anouther.

To watch the beautiful snow fall,
my examineing of myself deepens

I know it would be different for each human i comunicate with,
but i cant help but be a hopeless romantic.
A long and determind mission

but i know aswell that i need to opening acts,
before i can watch the show.

I keep trying to speed the clocks up so i can get to the sunset,
but all the while i am missing the day as it happens.

I keep watching the snow as it sielently falls
creating a snowy lair apon my yard.

I knoe its all real,
i know he could come

My palm read i will end early,
so i know it wont be verry meany ticks away
