Empty Vessel Poem by Norah Tunney

Empty Vessel

Silence wraps itself around me
like a cloak,
the wind blows all by itself.

To all appearance
I am a woman with a lover,
and a big life.

But I am not who I appear to be-
I am just an empty vessel
brimming with moonlight.
