Empty Words
Agian, a typo but it won't matter
it doesn't, it doesn't, doesn't matter
After all nothing will happen
nothing will happen
But it doesn't happen
I'm repeating words again and again
Hoping they will, someday, matter
hoping my lies won't shatter
Hoping that these fake emotions
Aren't just cruel illusions
Expecting a lie to be real
Expecting a fake to show some zeal
Ha! aren't fakes the ones that are eager
Ha! aren't fakes usually better
After all they want to be real
After all they too want to feel
But repeating a lie is useless
a fake is a fake, pretentious
But a question comes to mind
What is a fake's true value
a question whose answer I find
for a fake, for a lie, I drew
cause they had become a part of me
They had become more than an illusion
They are now real to me
They are now my true emotion
But then again that is another lie
To be repeated again until I die
So that in other people's truth
Is the illusion I put forth

Poet's Notes about The Poem
Well if you can't then were just the same, I can't believe it either
And to think it all started with a typo I didn't bother to correct
