En Grande Tenue Poem by Christopher Tye

En Grande Tenue

Rating: 5.0

En Grande Tenue

In full dress soldiers on parade,
Bright red tunics and bear skin hats,
Brass buttons shining like little suns,
Shiny boots polished like mirrors,
Rifles with fixed bayonets completing the look,
All the grandeur so different from the battlefields.
