Enchanted Poem by John Richey

Enchanted

Locking my eyes into yours,
Catching my breath, stunned...
Feeling numb from head to toe,
Desiring the slightest touch...
Stomach jumping through loops.

How you do this to me...
My brain is still scattered,
Heart skipping beats rapidly,
Smiling shyly in your direction...
Simple words escapes me,

Falling over the edge,
Shrouding myself with shadow...
Embarrassed at my foolishness,
Why this happens to me..
Is clouded around confusion.

Losing myself in your beauty,
Refusing to look elsewhere,
Hardships arise in my soul...
Shattering all concentration,
Thoughts are a fleeting memory.

All happens within seconds...
Regaining momentum is difficult,
Only wanting to embrace you.
Craving every second,
Feeling light on my feet.

Reality is an unsure thing...
The epitome of perfection,
Radiating joy into my veins,
Angels envious of your purity,
You shine brightest in my vision.

Letting you lose from my hold,
Seeing the smile escape your lips,
Positive that nothing compares...
How unbelievably I can stand,
Blown away bu your illumination.

Enchanted by everything you do.
