Enchantress Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Enchantress

Rating: 5.0

Take me enchantress,
Cast a spell upon this soul
Take me away from this pain
Send me to a realm where I am with my own

The stars are yours for the taking
Bless this existence with their presence
Lackadaisical reverence
In a daze where time ceases to exist

Take a hold of me
Let us fly even further in the void
Devoid of any worries
Where an enigma is met with hope

The unknown is my haven
No redundancy straight ahead
Just dreams unfiltered dreams
In the shining stars warm welcoming

It is here where I would truly be at home
Away from the pollution, Humankind's scorn
Cosmic cleansing, the feat that I mourn
Take me away, Growing tired of feeling all alone

Take me enchantress
To my true calling abode
Where true peace exists
And unconditional love is truly adored

Take me enchantress,
I am one with you
I am all yours
