Encoded Ode Poem by Paul G. Kallen

Encoded Ode

Rating: 2.8

Based on Marilyn Friday's idea

My wit has an urge to break this code,
Although no key to the code I did find.
It stirs up feelings the message is odd,
And I do not want to go it blind.

Deciphered codes make my soul sing,
Even if mysteries are revered stuff.
Revering myself as a mystery, I swing
Until the mind-body cord is a laugh.

But after I draw my ultimate breath,
I will live the next age as my last.
Having left a coded message on earth,
I know my future will be in the past.
