Encounter Poem by Michael Fitzroy

Encounter

Reflections, releasing a tempting mirage
A mystical form, of beauty and pain
A burning of passion, oh I desire
A journey of fulfilment, undescribed
From the frozen wastes, she emerged
She took up her stand right by my side
United we stood hand in hand
Facing the unknowns of life
And mysterious worlds
Our battles were fierce
Our love was strong
We overcame, with incredible force
The armies of hate, evil and sin
We redeemed ourselves
From a fate so cruel
Until death do us part
Never to meet again
