End Of A Rope Poem by dave porges

End Of A Rope

Rating: 2.0

confusion surrounds the heart, fondles the beat with cold arms
anger takes your mind, leaving your friends behind
depression consumes your soul, yet your face didn't show it at all
in the end of a rope you found the answer to your beating
and my heart ever since never stopped thinking
to be alive or forsaken, thoughts of you will forever and always awaken.
but when memories arise before the moon
and the sound of howling pain will pierce the sky
just remember that this lone wolf once had a friend
and now he only wished you didn't cry
