End Of Forever Poem by Tiya Sen

The sky is the darkest before the day breaks,
A yesterday with you is what the night takes.
Every breathe makes my chest more heavy,
To face a new day I’m just not ready.
My eyes have become the driest desert,
As tears fail to moisten them after all the hurt.
I can’t see no reason why I should have to see the sunrise,
And hide all the darkness behind a disguise.
I don’t even know how to keep it together,
Since last night has witnessed the end of forever.
