Endless Conversation Poem by Tinuola olaiya

Endless Conversation

Ever felt like talking to someone all day?
Even when you don't have much to say?
Ever been tempted to give them a call,
Smiling silence, basking in the spell of their attention in conversation?
And, after all voices have long ceased,
Your mind still carries on, talking
Like they are still there?
Your lips a smile squashes, as you look around, hoping no one is about
Then, a smile can't be denied as a fountain of laughter,
From your belly erupts
And in the night of day,
After hours spent abay,
The dance of words continue,
Like the rhythm never stopped
Words tumble out, the ears bubble up,
The heart rejoices, as in heat,
It prances to the drum beat,
Of conversation, held with them and self.

This is graphic, the images dance on the screen to drum beats of the heart I particularly liked, Smiling silence, basking in the spell of their attention in conversation? And, after all voices have long ceased, Your mind still carries on, talking Like they are still there? the conversation goes on; the human mind searches the heart and the soul and tells them again and again what to recall, what to keep, and memory comes in and lends a smile when the mind is happy.
