Enemies To Create Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Enemies To Create

Enemies to create.
Does not make the battle,
Easier to win.
No matter which weapons used.
It only takes it to be noticed.
It only takes it to be known.
Who it is that gets,
Their own personal interest served.
With a skilled technique.
Using to receive empathy that succeeds.
Employing deception to have believed.
And doing it to gain support from others.
Too late to discover,
They have endorsed their own demise.
Not to realize,
Their own ignorance allowed...
A truth sought with it kept to keep,
Was being defeated.
And compromised.
By their familiarity with evil.
Leaving them defenseless.
And unconscious of it.
Since evil to accept,
Makes it difficult to address.
Or with it compete.

"You sure go to church a lot."

-That is the only way I can communicate.
Among those with whom I congregate.
To know them to remain faithful.-

"Hopefully that faith you all have,
Will one day be relayed to God.
To get you all involved,
In the doing of God's work."

-And...
What is that comment made,
Suppose to imply? -
