The English language is totally amazing.
Some words you can spell without even sounding.
Then there are words with double meanings.
That's why I have such trouble proofreading.
Here's a few example of what I mean.
Some words are not always what they seem.
A Paradox: is a statement made that may hold some contradiction.
Well, I look at the word and see a pair of physicians.
Or how about an eyedropper...you know what that is.
To me it's a clumsy ophthalmologist.
So now you know why I look at a word,
and just scratch my head because some are absurd.
The English language just boggles my mind.
But without it I wouldn't be able to rhyme
