Ennui Poem by Muna Chinedu

Ennui

Let variety be
the oneness of our universe
let varied faces be
the oneness of our faces
I can knit a cloak
you can knit a hat
I'm a potter
you are a smith
I have a round hole in me
you have a round peg
and so the world sails
as the exact sameness
of all of we citizen
will be a hellish pot of bore

Beautiful depiction of unity in diversity. An insightful piece of poetry, well articulated and elegantly brought forth in good diction with conviction. Lovely poem with a subtle call for universal brotherhood of man. Thanks for sharing Muna.
