Entwined Poem by Ella Rose

Entwined

Linked together like a strong rope leading into your arms
Interlaced, soft as feathers floating around tight like yarn
Your homemade blanket knitted by great grandma's hands
We must lay down together for I can no longer stand

My heart has always had a lock but with you I'm disarmed
Linked together like a strong rope leading into your arms
My breath taken away from looking into those lovely eyes
Your breath taken away as you realize I've lost my disguise.

Beliefs in our future given from the good Lord above
A firm foundation based on communication and love
Linked together like a strong rope leading me into your arms
I've always been intrigued by your little romantic charms.

No more complications for we are free from dramatic play
Come here, sweetheart, I can't handle another frantic delay
As our bodies lay entwined together I am free from harm
Linked together like a strong rope leading into your arms
