Epiphanies Poem by Brandi Guthrie

Epiphanies

In the mere seconds before we kiss, I quite nearly lose my head.
In the few minutes before we meet, my cheeks flush bright red.
In the rare hours that we spend, I`m always left wanting more.
In the many moments of good-bye, I never want to close the door.
At the very sight of your eyes, my insides begin to melt.
At the very edge of desire, I`m lost in a sensation I`ve never felt.
At this very moment, my mind is spinning with visions of you.
At a time when you are gone, those visions get me through.
With you a part of my soul, I can finally rest my woes.
Within your formidable arms, I am sure that I`m home.
With your undying love, I find I can breathe easy again
With you to pass the time, I can`t wait for each day to begin.
Forever will I smile each time I think of you.
Forever shall I know no love could prove more true.
