Epiphany

Civilisation will collapse
without creativity
which is the torch that lights up
the mind in its poised trajectory

to realms untrodden and unknown
beyond the highest mountain and sea
joys and tears, and brokenness it highlights
the human hope, the tragedy and dignity-

time it conquers, the heart it heals
its poignancy flows so spontaneously
every soul it reaches and touches
new space it creates in charting a new boundary -

life though the brief flickering light
is the chronicler of our collective history
in the oneness which embraces us all
in the spiritual unity that transcends all mystery
