Equality Poem by Stefanie Fontker

Equality

Misanthropy, is that so?
I believe in equality
True, and through
To the very end
I couldn't care less
About where you're from
Or who's in your bed
Just don't record
Any type of video
That has the slightest
Chance of ending up
In my mailbox
It's quite alright
That you like so and so
He does chew
With his mouth open, though
You think it's rude
Of me to say so?
I think it's terribly rude
That I have to see it
Whatever you say,
Just know that
I hate you and your boyfriend
Just as much as I hate
Everyone else I've met

This poem is written fluently and melodiously. I love equality too, even though I do not hate everyone I know.
