Broken hearts before our birth,
Damaged souls that walked the Earth,
Joined as if by simple chance,
Healed as one in life's strange dance,

Pain and loss have stormed our keep,
Grief and anger scarred us deep,
Yet still we stand as one today,
No force could take our bond away.

The worst may still be yet to come,
And all we have may come undone,
But one thing stands forever true,
My heart and soul belong to you.
