Eternity Is Only A Moment Away Poem by soso khan

The day has finally come
Eternity is within our grasp
Your hands brushed against my shoulders then,
Held them in a tight grip.

Your beautiful face getting closer by the minute,
But all I hear is a pounding heart,
Not just any heart,
My heart.

Then you said…
Are you afraid of being with me,
For all of eternity,
Are… you?

I replied …
I’d rather have you forever,
then never having you at all,
I’m forever yours.

His face brushed against my neck,
The adrenalin rushing through me,
I knew it was coming.
The sound of his piercing fangs

The pain…
It’s more of an ache then pure agony
It’s not what I expected
But I was happy to do it for u

I no longer hear the sound of a beating heart
All I hear is silence
I never thought silence could be so peaceful
The only sound I yearn for is you

I turned around and see you
Walking towards me
And then I knew….
Eternity won’t be long enough.
