Even When You Feel You Are At Your Worse Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Even When You Feel You Are At Your Worse

Don't give it a thought.
Or contemplate,
Those good deeds by you
Left done.
Or spend a moment,
Rehearsing your remorse.
Your heart is good.
That reflects...
As it should.

Do what you have been doing.
No need to get upset.
You have nothing to regret.
Or should perceive to have done differently.
Even when you feel you are at your worse...
You still have bettered someone's best!
No need to become embittered.
To sit alone with your actions revisited in torment.
Or curse with wishes,
Your actions in resentment.

What 'is' yours...
Will 'be' yours!
Restored.
And/or new,
In due time!
