Evening In You Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Evening In You

The evening seems to have
Already been set in your eyes.
The pale crimson of the sun
Is playing hide and seek in
The infinite depth of your irises.
Your long tresses have been
Woven into knotty clouds
That hang over the horizon
Holding eachother's hands.
As over your smooth sloping
Of nape. The evening has
Sprinkled its fragrance of mist
Across your face. You look
Young and beautiful when
With a swinging motion of your
Body you walk down to the well.
Celebrating your endless charm
The birds have made a festoon
Of their colored plumes as they
Look at you wide eyed from edges
Of their nests. You belong to the
Evening as it slips into the lap of night.
