Events Poem by Two Sides

Events

If the darkness’s divine,
Would white be the crime?
I wish there were some light for ME to shine,
upon this twisted sign.
Write in riddles and in rhymes
when speaking so, about past times.
To minds like yours.
So bright the light which brought you to,
Not wisdom, no, you have no clue?
It screams, it hauls, it tears at you.
The way you think is based on light,
Who’s deadly past shines oh so bright.
You look around but only see,
As much as the beam they hold.
Maybe you try and try at night,
To escape your deadly self.
Yet cry and cry i might,
For living in this,
This dark spot of light.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When i look around me, all i see is people not living and promises not kept. The world as promised by religion or bad political management has brought us many things that could be good, but just isn't. They have stolen, lied, murdered, tortured, chased, divided and destroyed so many lives in our past. Yet still we have not learned to listen to our self and question important things before making a educated decision. Nowadays living MTV is more and more common.

So this is my poem on said subject. I have no idea what to think of it as of yet but as this is my fist poem, I'll just wait and see what you think of it.

p.s.
As English is my third language and this is my first poem, i hope I've written this with the correct spelling and placing of words.
