Well I can't believe I'm leaving
Maybe never to look back
You know a part of me just died tonight
I want to say 'I'm sorry' but I'm right.
Your words were untrue.
Your 'I love you'.

So I'm sitting all alone
In my empty hollow home
Just wondering if I should give you a call
But I only stare at our pictures on the wall.
I don't know what to do.
I still love you.

Now I toss and turn in bed
Haunted by the words we said
Hoping tommorrow's light would just come
Although it won't change with the morning sun.
I hope the best for you.
Whatever you do.

And though I'm torn and greiving
Just about to crack
I won't let the tears fall today
They remain inside hidden far away.
All I want to do,
Is be with you.

So the years have drifted by
And 'No' I didn't die
Remembering a time when we were one
I know that time is past and far gone.
Yes it's still true.
