Every Door Poem by David Harris

Every Door

Rating: 5.0

Every door we open
must lead us somewhere,
the highest gate of heaven
or to the depth of hell.
Every door leads somewhere,
the problem is where.
The only way to find out
is when we open it and step inside.
Many times, we ask ourselves
which way our lives will lead.
No one can answer that.
We can only go down the path
we have chosen to go,
only when we reach the end
will we ever know.

This one is stellar....just love it...and some doors take lots of courage to go through...but with out opening it one will never know

I had heard 'never open a door you cannot close' but this poem, is a much better of looking at life. Wonderful insight David. Cheers Anita

An articulated synposis that would lead into a wonderful Sunday sermon... to lead or not to lead... it is the question?
