Everyday Is Resurrection Day

Everyday is Resurrection day
For those who know the Lord
Now we're walking in newness of life
Praise God for His Word
Death that once was daunting to us
Right up until the grave
Was dismissed fromits taunting power
For now Lord Jesus saves!

Our own rising again shall come
With a glorious body one day
When mortality puts on immortality
Imperishable for eternity
This the blessed Hope we have
Who've put our faith in Christ
We the sinner's deserving God's wrath
The recipients of His sacrifice

O what power of Resurrection
It's a game changer for sure
Death that once held us captive
Now kaput.... bankrupt.... poor!
In the presence of God we shall stand
And sing most wonderfully
With that One Who triumphed over it
Faith is the Victory!
