Is this the way it was meant to be
With a frown on your face
And put the blame on me

You say i was cruel and broke your heart
From then and now we've grown apart

This is your side to the story and there is mine
But all will be well in time

Because what we had was special and true
And now we will share that with someone new

Time flied when we were one
We both agree but look what i've done

You were mine to love and to hold
Till we leave the earth grey and old

You made me feel young, wild and free
But you are yet to forgive me

But till then we shall see
