Explorations: Lvii Poem by indira babbellapati

Explorations: Lvii

Can you measure
The distance between
The skin and the brain?
Can you identify
The one of brain and
The one who lurks
Under the skin?
The two keep shifting roles
Who is who?
Who is the (un) real who?
Whoever, does s/he have
A tangible shape?
How can s/he be measured
When keeps jumping from
Under the skin to the brain
From the brain hides
Under the skin?
How evasive this human
In a world fast slipping
Through the gaps of fingers!
