Exposed Dignity



the barren tree
that stands alone
in this stetch
of soul less land
without
its coat of green leaves
without its dignity
without its pride
exposed
to the whole world
but still
an exemplary display
of strength
the beauty lies
in th fact
that this tree
is waiting
to be uprooted
once again
