Eyes Poem by Emma Alberts

Eyes

Eyes
Flaming red like a hawk's
Deep blue like a snow leopard's
Standing out against its white speckled fur
Green grass
Deep inside an eye
Waiting for love
And a first real kiss
Brown, lonely eyes
Shedding a tear
Every night she spends alone
Black, emotionless eyes
Blankily staring into the distance
Knowing he's not alone
Gray eyes
Stained by each dropp of sadness
Each showing
How much
I used to care
