Eyes Opened Poem by mary ann jacobs

Eyes Opened

Please save ur harsh word
And keep em to a minimum
I'm not tryin to have ur negativity affect my floetic momentum
step back and breath and release
And ask the Lord to remove the veil that's shielding ur 3rd eye
Hence u can peep the golden prize

Is it all coming as a shock and a surprise? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
2 know that everything that u been doing and living is all a lie
I know since ur 3rd eye has been revealed
that u wanna pop a pill
Cuz looking at dis world a have u feelin ill

Nah, Take a break and gaze into my eyes and see the passion and truth that lies within

Better believe that my soul never lies
And its gonna be like this till the day of the demise of my flesh
Then I shall be replenished

And made new like it was in the beginning
Before there was any thought of any type of sinning
Till dat serpent came and made us question
the truest of ever

God's blessing
And look around today
at what happened, because we let the devil get in da way
and made us turn our face

2 God
whose the creator of all
and we did it to ourselves
now it aint nothing but devastation
