Within the vicious lair we’ve sat,
Though neither knew where we were at;
I took a breath but field with fear
Afraid to even call you dear.
The numbness burning on your face
The coming storm that you could gaze;
The hopeless facts, the shallow hate
Have yet to come into debate.
The silent scream that faith has left
Will mirror on this life-like theft.
So what is left? What’s to become?
Is everything all said and done?
The burning ashes from this fire
A snow fall on to the entire...
