Face To Face! Poem by Denis Martindale

How few have seen the Saviour's hands, how few have seen His feet,
While He, with patience, nearby stands, their heartfelt joys to meet,
How few have knelt upon their knees, the Saviour to adore,
How few have kissed the Prince of Peace, and been thrilled to the core!

Yet I know my Redeemer lives, God's Son who died for me,
And all the love the Father gives to bless my ministry,
No greater love that proves sublime, beyond amazing grace,
Indwelling now, until the time, we each meet face to face!

Yet then I'll know tranquillity, unlike I've ever known,
A gentle sweet serenity, no other love has shown,
Transcending all this world has done, to daily put me down,
I'll see the Father, and the Son, the day I wear my crown!
