Face To Face Poem by Jann Aquarius

Face To Face

Face to face;
I see your eyes are glowing red.
As blood runs in your veins,
It turns into black.
Rising hate in your heart
Now, face to face;
You look at me with shame and disgust.
You just looked at me.
Neither sense of kindness and sympathy
That grows in your cold heart.
Your eye, mind, heart’s intensity is skin-depth only.
You are a thick-skinned creature.
Face to face;
You see my obvious scars;
This are shadows of my despair and misery;
Yet you never understand what you see;
You are worse than a blind man.
Your eye, mind, heart’s intensity is skin-depth only.
Now, face to face;
The question is…
Who is disgusting between you and me?

I've noticed that you used (this shadows) instead of (these shadows) is there a reason? (you are a thick skinned creature) so good.
