Face Value Poem by Jacqui Broad

Face Value

Rating: 5.0

What's on a face
that you want to
capture it forever
on a photo?
What's on a face
of a toddler
getting a puppy
to be his best friend?
What's on a face
of a child
going to school
for the first time?
What's on a face
of a teenager
experiencing the dance
of the first love?
What's on a face
of a bride
soon to take leave
of her freedom?
What's on a face
of a new mother
holding her new-born
feeding on her breast?
What's on a face,
indeed what,
that tells you
this is who I am?

What's on a face....................... This line is amazing... What's on a face much is there, It is the doorway of our heart. Face is index of person. Don't get confused I'm simply writing a Face. Now about your poem - it is great that just like Shakespeare you touched many stages of your life.. What-else I can say I'm running out of words. Bye for now. So Have smashing Day. :) :) :)
