Fade Away
Life torments me at every turn
for years I have craved only one thing
only ever asked the all being for one thing
now she lays beside me fast asleep
looking so enticing to me
but though we are barely a foot apart
there seems to be miles between us
all I wish to do is to grab her hand
and intertwine it with mine
but a question keeps reoccuring to me
will she reciprocate or will she fade away
