the hope of love
has failed
i face the world alone
and hurt
beaten to a bloody pulp
put down lower that dirt
wanted to be six feet under
or smothered
tear me up
tear me down
just dont leave
grab a knife
and stab hard
the road has ended
the blade has bended
the stinging pain has stung
push me farther
pull me harder
please don't leave me alone
I'm no longer scared of you
but of the shame i have in myself
and the damage ive done
knowing its over
always brings tears to my eyes
because i know we never got that last goodbye
