on the thoroughfare of faith
vendors beckon
offering
salvation, paradise, nirvana
100% pure living
credit
debit
aadhar
minority
cards and more
for ardha snanam
and a bumper prize
for purna snanam
coz with numbers
fills the coffers
its good business
a flip of faith
brings bounty!
The poem provides a caustic commentary, though with an element of satire, on the evils of rituals related with religion and its professional practitioners who are always ready to exploit the innocent followers. Emphatic statement.
