Faith The Facts

Faith the facts and get prayed up
God is in control
He's never late or in a hurry
Learn to trust Him so
We have the Spirit as our Comforter
In Him we have our peace
The joy of the Lord is our strength
We've everything to meet our needs

O praise You heavenly Father
May we yearn to trust You so
And take a vacation from ourselves
And let the Spirit take control
What a blessing to know the Word
Where truth is finalized
And rest upon its precious promises
Through all the days of our lives

And let the flesh only momentarily
Try to upsurp our path
But then let us swiftly to that Saviour
Who has gained for us all that we have
For greater is He that's within us
Then He that is in the world
Rather to be safe in the arms of Jesus
Than to experience God's wrath unfurled

Praise God I faithed the facts
I was a sinner lost and undone
I believed what the Word said about my state
And I received Jesus Christ God's Son
My eternity to me is now personal
For I know in whom I believed
My faith has found it's resting place
My penalty from sin's been relieved!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
